Install DBS 576/HD Manager 5.2 with Windows^® 98, NT Server, NT Workstation,
2000 Professional, 2000 Server and XP

Note: This procedure is written for  Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher. With older versions, you may encounter slight variations.

1. Click here.
2. Select Open from the File Download menu.
3. From the WinZip Self-Extractor window, click Unzip.
4. Enter the password and click OK. (This is the same password you use to access the DBS 576 and 576HD technician manuals.) The self-extracting executable automatically extracts the files into a temporary subdirectory on the C: drive called DBS576Manager52_temp.
5. Close the WinZip Self-Extractor window.
6. Using Explorer or My Computer, select C:\DBS576Manager52_temp\DBS576Manager520\SETUP.EXE and click OK (DO NOT change the listed setup folder). This installs DBS 576/HD Manager as confirmed by the Information window message "The setup program ended normally."
7. Click OK again to close the Information window.
8. To launch DBS Manager, simply double-click the DBS576Manager520 desktop icon.
9. First Time Only: Click OK without entering a User ID. You can set up these User IDs from the Configuration Settings screen once you have entered DBS 576/HD Manager.
10. Finally, using Explorer or My Computer, delete the temporary subdirectory (created in step 5) called C:\DBS576Manager52_temp.
