Personalizing Your Manuals

If you have a full copy of Adobe Acrobat (not simply Adobe Acrobat Reader), you can apply Acrobat's full annotating feature set functions (text, icons, sound, highlighting, strike-through, etc.) to downloaded copies of your manuals.

For example:

1. Right click the manual you want to annotate.
2. Select the Copy Shortcut menu option.
3. Click the Address field on your browser.
4. Press CTRL-V to paste the shortcut into the browser Address field.
5. Press Enter. Adobe Acrobat opens and loads the manual you selected.
6. Click the Text Annotation Tool icon .
7. Point to and click the area you want to include the annotation.
8. Type in your annotation.
9. Repeat steps g and h for any other annotations you want to include.
10. Click the Hand Tool icon .
11. Save the annotated manual to your hard drive.
